We now have them available for you to purchase!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe puukko is a Scandinavian knife that has been made for centuries. The blade is a 2.875” laminated custom by Danish maker Mogum L. Svendsen. His blades are sought for their superior cutting function and subtle elegance. I cement this blade in the chosen handle wood with epoxy resin. This handle material is Spalted Maple with Bloodwood Bolster, interspaced with Black nylon spacer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is finished with a matt finish called Danish Oil, with a light, hand rubbed, beeswax. You can also rub linseed oil or lemon oil on sheath \u0026amp; handle it to brighten it up. The sheath is from vegetable tanned leather, which allows for wet forming. The hanger is inserted through the sheath wet and then smoothed to finish. The hanger loop is held by friction only. The sheath is hand sewn with 20# braided fish line and is dyed British Tan.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hanger loop buttons are deer antler, sewn on after the sheath is dyed. Maker’s initials\u003cbr\u003eCW are embossed on the side of the sheath. The blade will thank you for light oil cleaning after use.
