I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked this knife. The handle is a work of art - the juniper wood is fantastic and paired with the zebra bone is really something beautiful. Blade and sheath are both great as well. Jesse did himself proud with this one. Plus excellent customer service from the Ragweed team. A winning combination.

This is a fantastic knife. The knifemaker, Jesse is one of the best out there. The spalted birch handle is a thing of beauty as are the fittings. The blade is sharp and the sheath is great. A truly great puukko knife, and the Ragweed customer service is great also!

I haven't started fashioning the handle yet, but this is a huge knife with a strong Scandi grind blade. If made with a leuku-style handle, it will be very weight-forward. This will make an excellent heavy knife for outdoor use.

This little knife feels great in the hand. The handle is thick enough to make for a secure grip and give good control. The blade is sharp and agile. The dangling sheath rides like it is not there at all which is a very nice feature. This is an excellent companion for a day hiker, light weight, unobtrusive and dependable. Love this little knife!

I am very pleased with the knife blank I ordered from Ragweed. Delivery was fast and the knife is sharp and well crafted. I made a Paduak handle and now have a beautiful carving knife. Very pleased.

Knife is spear point, centrally aligned on axis of handle for easy drilling, decent 4 finger grip, sticks in your hand really well. 80CrV2 steel is a fine choice for this blade. Square spine throws sparks. At about three ounces it belongs in every kit, glove box, pocket or on a belt. Would make a good gift for just about anybody. But I'm keeping this one!

A well made knife - good, sharp steel, beautiful maple wood handle with nice grain, good grip feel and really nice leather sheath. One really nice example of workmanship. A favorite of mine.

I think I've used at least a half dozen sizes/styles of the Forge's guards over the past few years. They've all been perfect for all of my antler knife creations. Rock On Forgers!!!
