Mora Blade KB-106

This blade is the best. Laminated steel sharpens easy and holds a edge for a long time ⌛️. It was fun carving the handel to shape. I carved it out of walnut. The price that Ragweed Forge has on it is grate. Fast shipping and the packaging 📦 is grate.

I own 2 of the helle Bleja h3ls they the sharpest knives I have ever owned. I gave one to my daughter she now cleans her own squirrels with ease. I ordered another a while back and received it recently what beautiful curly maple scales. It goes to my grandson . If you are a squirrel 🐿️ hunter you definitely need one of these knives. They also serve well in field dressing deer.

I bought my copy of this knife from Ragnar at Pennsic a very long time ago, it has seen plenty of use and is still functionally as good as new (and with the sheath, handle and blade showing honest wear from use, even better IMO).

The rough spine mentioned in another review was a feature on my knife as well, but a few minutes with a coarse sharpening stone fixed that for the rest of it's life (so far). The blade also came with a slight secondary bevel, which took years of sharpening to completely eliminate, but now it's a true Scandi grind, with the exception of the tip which I keep in an appleseed profile for strength.

With the prices being asked for machine made "stuff" these days, I think the $99 price tag of the "Classic Utility" is still quite reasonable, since you're getting a tool that will likely last your entire lifetime if cared for. This knife is everything it needs to be as a cutting tool and ads nothing that isn't required.

I'm very glad to see it's still being produced, though I miss the hand applied electro-pencil "company logo" of the older production knives.

A very sharp, fine knife. Maybe a little light or field dressing large game (but would work). Good one for small game though.

This is a fine quality bladed knife with moose horn scales for handle. Should make short work of field dressing a deer or elk or black bear. The sheath is top quality too.

Received the diamond plate promptly as is always the case with Ragweed. Honestly have not had the chance to test drive it yet, but first impressions are it's of good quality. Certainly a handy size for edc carry. I'll do a follow up after I've put some miles on it. I've yet to get bum steer from Redbeard.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this knife. I was afraid it would be too small as I have large hands. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The handle fit me perfectly. Everything is top quality - blade, handle and sheath. I plan on using it as a neck knife. Thank you, Redbeard and his team, at Ragweed for great customer service.
