Nice small blade

The first two inches of a blade are used the most. This knife could be all you need for average cutting tasks.
Although, you could field dress a moose with it.
The steel is very nice so far. I put red linen micarta scales with black g10 pins on this blade. I haven't used it much yet, but I have faith in this brand.
I like how this blade comes without the Survivor Man logo. A factory built version has the badging.
So, buy and build two of these with the available sheath for less than the price of one factory finished knife.

Great Knife!

Love this blade! Forth one I’ve purchased and made a handle for! Give some as gifts and people love them!

Full tang Helle in my pocket!

What a blade. I wrapped the handle and put magnets in the beautiful Helle sheath. 16mm thick. Fits perfectly in a pocket. Now I have an option to my beloved Helle Nyling that I wear as a neck knife. Beautiful steel. Ragweed Forge has become a bit of a shrine to me. Thanks Redbeard, for keeping the Forge hot.

Another Great Blade

Just like the first Helle blade I bought from Ragweed Forge, this one came in perfect condition and record fast time. But, it's kind of a pyramid scheme. Every time I come back to leave a review I find another couple of blades to try. And I just now found the handle materials... Curse you, Redbeard

Leo,
This sure made us giggle. Thanks for the laugh! We appreciate your continued support. I hope the build goes well!

Description

The Helle Mandra was designed by Les Stroud and Anders Haglund of the Helle Company. We have been getting quite a few requests for the blade alone. Here it is! a 2.7in long blade intended for full tang construction. Once completed it would be a great small blade for the belt or well suited for neck carry.

Triple laminated full-tang blade with a popping sharp scandigrind.
