Walter Reber has been making knives for over 10 years. He has forged many of his own blades but these offerings are all out of our blades. It was just a hobby for the most part until we saw some of his work. We can now offer some of his extremely well-built knives and ferro rods.
This knife started out with a Condor Kephart blade that was modified into this great user! He re-profiled and removed all markings and gave it a great polished finish. The blade is currently 4 1/4" long and 1" wide. Total length of knife is 8 7/8"
For this one, He used a beautiful piece of Curly ash which is stained with Aquafortis, Brass pins and a veg tanned leather sheath.
The Ferro rod comes with this knife and is made out of matching materials of stained Curly Ash wood. Well built, Long lasting rod that throws exceptional sparks.
Really nice combo with some clean leatherwork that would be a great addition to any kit.
