Bargain Bin

The Bargain Bin is our clearance section for Scandinavian and Nordic knives, sheaths and tools. Everything here is something we have carried in the store. Some items are discontinued models, some are older versions that the maker has since updated, and some are products we simply have too many of. You get the same quality we sell every day, at a lower price.

What You'll Find in the Bargain Bin

The selection covers much more than one type of knife. You will find traditional Finnish and Norwegian puukko and leuku knives, Swedish Mora knives, wood carving knives, fillet and boning knives, butcher and skinning knives, replacement sheaths, sharpening tools and knife-making supplies. Use the filters to narrow the list by country of origin, brand, blade length, blade thickness, steel type or handle material.

Discontinued Models and Older Versions

Some knives in this collection are no longer in production. Others have been redesigned by the manufacturer, and what we have left is the earlier version, such as an older ferrule style or a previous sheath model. For many buyers that is exactly the point: the original version may be the one they prefer. Discontinued items are not restocked, so once they sell out, they are gone for good.

Overstock from Brands We Already Trust

Overstock does not mean second-rate. These are knives and tools from the same makers we stock in the main store, including Mora, Helle, Roselli, Strömeng, Peltonen, Kauhavan Puukkopaja, Wood Jewel, Old Hickory and JRE. We simply ordered more than we sold, and we would rather pass the savings on to you than leave them on the shelf.

A Smart Way to Reach Free Shipping

We ship from the USA, with same-day shipping on orders placed by 2 PM EST and free USA shipping on orders over $120. Smaller Bargain Bin items, like a spare sheath, a sharpener or a strop, are an easy way to top up your order and reach free shipping.

Limited Quantities: Check Back Often

Most items here are available in small numbers, sometimes only one. We add new clearance items whenever we can, so if you are looking for a deal on a quality Nordic knife, it is worth checking back regularly or signing up for our newsletter.
