Why does my knife not say old hickory on the handle

I am so glad you brought this to our attention. The knife that you purchased was the Hunter 'Factory Seconds'. We are always asked what is the difference between the Originals and the 'Factory Seconds' and we usually can not tell at all. This is one difference we just found after going through the rest of them. The Factory Seconds only have the stamp on the blade and not on the Handle. Thank you for noticing and letting us know!

So sorry about this. The boxes that some of the Old Hickory’s come in are quite large and increase shipping costs. We have quite a few of the original boxes in the shop. If you would like one, please just make a note on your next order and we will happily send one in the package

We now have the Old Hickory Hunting Knife! I was quite happy to see this when it became available. Old Hickory now has their very own Hunting style knife. It feels great in the hand and we have heard nothing but great things about this one for the price.

This full tang knife has a satin finish on the blade. This Old Hickory actually comes with a nice brown sheath with belt loop as pictured. It is also quite unnoticeable on the hip

The Old Hickory 7026 Sheath Would easily fit up to a 2 1/2 inch Belt. It looks like it was sewn to fit up to 3" but that would be tight

Factory seconds now available! We have looked over a bunch of them and can not even tell the difference. These are shipped bulk with no packaging.
