When my lauri 220 fillet knife arrived, I was intimidated by the size. It is an 8-3/4” blade with a 5”+ tang. The blade is razor sharp and flexes nicely. The handle is made of Sapele and coated with epoxy. I paired the knife with an epoxy sheath, which I figure will withstand the salt water better than leather. The end result is a very useful knife, with some character. Just need to catch a fish and put it to the test. Thanks Ragweed.
Great selection and clear pictures make this site a great place to get an affordable utilitarian or heirloom quality hunting knife.
I purchased both. Packaging was excellent: items came packaged from the factory with documentation.
I will definitely do business with Ragweed Forge again.
This knife surprised me. This is a perfect smaller EDC fixed blade. Comes in a leather sheath with a pocket clip, which has the perfect strength to keep the sheath in your pocket while you draw the knife. Knife has a super sharp, shiny edge. One of the sharpest I have received. Overall a great knife. It is, however, extremely overpriced. This knife would be perfect in the $200-220 range. I understand it’s a smaller operation, handmade, etc. 5/5 get this knife!

Not small, not too big
Another one put together. When I look at it, it makes me want to slice something our whack something. The spine is sharp enough to strike a pharaoh rod. I love the way my phone types what I say. Thanks ragweed another great knife.

What a beautiful blade
Here’s the second one I put together today. This is a Mesquite handle. The blade is very sharp no need to touch it up at all. I guess I’ll have to make a sheet for it. Thanks ragweed another great blade another great knife.
