Since just ordering the Andersson & Copra Urban Husky Folder - Copper/Sandvik, I realized I'd not written a review y'all may find helpful on this A & C #3 now back in stock. I bought a virtually identical version from Redbeard a couple years ago, only in mine the washers in stacked leather handle repeatedly alternate in color from green to light brown to dark brown. I have other puukkos with such leather handles, too, & so know "firsthand" they're even grippier when wet, & good-looking, as well. They're bracketed at top with a thick Ni-Ag guard & at bottom with same German silver pommel affixed to hidden tang with a matching external rivet-**** surrounded by embossed "ANDERSSON & COPRA SWEDEN." Thus, barely over 4-in total length handle assembly is traditional with a modern twist. Of course the 3 9/16" L × 25/32" W × 3/32" THK none-better Damasteel blade with wide scandi & repeating oval ultra-fine-line pattern is what makes this cutter so expensive. In case you forget, inscribed on one side of generous 9/32"-ricasso is "SWEDEN," with A & C shield logo on the other. The leather side-seam sheath hiding super-thick leather lasta inside holds this puukko tightly but is short enough to enable an easy 2-finger-&-thumb grip on handle for withdrawal. The belt loop fastened with a rivet will accomodate a very wide 2.5" waist belt, but even with a skinnier one, the rig rides rather high, so, preferring a dangler, I added Helle's leather one with its slick SS spring-gated ring. Still as green as when new, it nearly matched the A & C sheath now faded closer to medium brown. Beautifully functional, this puukko both dazzles & slices--if you can cough up $559.00 for one of your own.
