BOREAL Knives - Polar Hammered #14

John Jacobson jumped into the knife making hobby over 5 years ago now, After looking at his first shipment of knives, I would have thought he has been doing it for a lifetime. We love the fact that many of the handle materials that he uses are sustainably harvested out of the Boreal forest in Northern Minnesota. This is where his name comes from. All of his knives that we have seen have a very clean fit/finish and are ready to be used by anyone.

This one started out with the well known Polar Hammered 62mm Mushroom blade that is 80CrV2 Carbon Steel and just over 2" long. The handle is made out of Purpleheart and Birch Bark and Select Curly Birch Spacers. This one comes with a Brass Bolster and End nut. 

The Sheath is hand stitched and hand dyed and wet formed to fit the knife perfectly as any puukko should.
