Mora Carving #106 Carbon (New Non-Laminated**)

I LOVE this Ax for SCA throwing purposes. It is my go-to Ax for myself and for teaching others to throw.

Here is a small knife made from Lauri 62 blade (carbon, with ricasso) with 2-part walnut handle. The blade takes a great edge and is easy to sharpen. I use it mainly for leatherwork. Great value for a solid, functional small fixed blade. Thanks, Ragweed Forge!

Sometimes my tastes run toward the odd/unusual.
This knife fits that bill.
Bought it way back when price was about 1/2 what it is today.
It takes a great edge and holds it well.

I have not used this knife heavily,but it has performed as asked, for years.Certainly did zip open a Missouri whitetail a week ago.
Right in there for the skinning chores also, making it it easy to assist skinning without nicking the hide.

The craftsmanship on this knife is incredible, it just feels right in your hand. Redbeard was great in instructing me on how to sharpen this grind and what tools I would need, he even gifted me an Arkansas stone. I was so pleased with this knife and the customer service, I ordered another Roselli from Ragweed Forge.

I have purchased this product years ago from a different vendor. I have no regrets from the purchase date to present time. On this site it is fairly priced. Highly recommended if you're looking for a Bushcraft / Survival knife of high functionality and economically feasible. This is your choice... Love mine and would buy again in a New York second. I love the Ferro rod that is included. Remember even wet birch bark lit up nicely, even when wet with this rod. Thanks to Morakniv Great products.

The products are excellent, exactly as written up on the site. I am comparing the Mora 106 Carbon Steel "Original" with the newer model and will report back. Both sharp right out of the box and the first tune-up took them to razor sharp. Highly recommend.

Wonderfully sharp and light weight. It's a bit small for my hands but this is not really much or a problem. It's a new favourite of mine, definitely.
