First, this pendant does have a ring at the top for a string or chain, contrary to the description. The design is slightly crude in art but that lends itself to the charm and authenticity of the piece to me.
Odin portrayed on it somehow reminds me of an estranged old friend coming for a visit, smiling and “winking” with his missing eye. Adding in his spear and two ravens is a really nice touch. I really like this piece. Glad I went with the silver also. Odin deserves to be on the best metal available to him.
I’ll wear it with my brass Thor hammer so the father and son can hang out. It’s nice to have these to remind me of my lost heritage.
