Description
We had been following Deadpineknives on Social media for quite some time now and enjoy seeing what he is doing. Matt has been buying products for us for a few years and we did not even know they were one in the same. We now have some of his great work to offer you all!
This one started with a Lauri Rhombic 95 High Carbon Steel Blade. (80CrV2) Coming in at 4mm at the Rhombic point. The Brass Bolster and end cap are quite thick and very nicely peened for a great look. The Vintage Crosscut micarta handle is left rough for grip. It feels quite nice in the hand but not slippery at all. This is all secured together with the tang peened over the pommel and G-Flex epoxy inside as well.
The Traditional style back sewn sheath is made from veg tanned 5-6oz leather with a pinewood lesta inside for protection. Saddle stitched by hand and fully waxed for water resistance.
The sheath holds the knife tightly as it should. This is made to be warn as a neck knife. I also enjoy this one quite a bit.
