JL Knives Custom Puukko #25

Jesse Lerman has been buying our blades for some time now and as soon as we started seeing pictures of his work, We immediately knew we had to offer them for the world to see. Jesse sure is a master at his craft. These puukko's are traditional, great users, and absolutely beautiful.

We were so happy to get yet another batch of his work in to offer to everyone! They seem to sell out almost immediately after we get a batch of his beautiful work

This knife started as a Lauri metalli Polar Stainless steel 72mm blade made in Finland. The Handle is Simple yet beautiful. I really like the combination between handle and Blade size. Made from Premium African Ebony with 2 Stabilized Buckeye Burl Spacers on either end. The Buckeye Burl sure is neat as it really contrasts against the Ebony. The smooth transitions between many layers are pretty amazing. 

The bolster and pommel are Nickel Silver and the tang is properly and very cleanly peened at the pommel.

Total length of knife: 6 7/8in

The Sheath is brown veg-tanned leather, hand sewn, hand stitched, with a brass D-ring holding on a nice dangler. The Puukko fits about perfectly into the sheath to be sure it will not come out by accident.

Quite the piece of art that is made to be used and admired.
