JL Knives Custom Puukko #28

Jesse Lerman has been buying our blades for some time now and as soon as we started seeing pictures of his work, We immediately knew we had to offer them for the world to see. Jesse sure is a master at his craft. These puukko's are traditional, great users, and absolutely beautiful.

We were so happy to get yet another batch of his work in to offer to everyone! They seem to sell out almost immediately after we get a batch of his beautiful work

Just when I thought we have seen it all from JL, this piece arrives... Stunning and Elegant. Anyone would be proud to show this piece off. The detail and clean work in the layers are absolutely perfect.

This knife started as a Lauri Carving 80mm Stainless Steel blade made in Finland.  The handle is absolutely beautiful. The wood Selected for this piece was well thought out and executed perfectly.  Made of  Premium African Blackwood with Stabilized Linden Burl pieces. The C360 Brass Fittings, along with spacers really make this piece stand out. The smooth transitions between layers are pretty amazing. 

The bolster and pommel are C360 Brass and the tang is properly and very cleanly peened at the pommel.

The Sheath is Brown veg-tanned leather, hand sewn, hand stitched, with a brass D-ring holding on a nice dangler. The Puukko fits about perfectly into the sheath to be sure it will not come out by accident.

Quite the piece of art that is made to be used and admired.
