JL Knives Custom Puukko #40

Jesse Lerman has been buying our blades for some time now and as soon as we started seeing pictures of his work, We immediately knew we had to offer them for the world to see. Jesse sure is a master at his craft. These puukko's are traditional, great users, and absolutely beautiful.

We were so happy to get yet another batch of his work in to offer to everyone! They seem to sell out almost immediately after we get a batch of his beautiful work

This knife started as a Lauri Carving 62mm Carbon Steel blade made in Finland.  The handle is absolutely beautiful. The wood Selected for this piece was well thought out and executed perfectly.  Made of Stabilized Karelian Birch, leather spacers, and Axis deer antler. The Nickel Silver Fittings, along with Nickel silver spacers really make this piece stand out.  Much smaller knife than we are used to seeing from Jesse but well done.

The Sheath is Brown veg-tanned leather, hand sewn, hand stitched, with a brass D-ring holding on a nice dangler. The Puukko fits about perfectly into the sheath to be sure it will not come out by accident.

Quite the piece of art that is made to be used and admired.
