JL Knives Custom Puukko #41

Jesse Lerman has been buying our blades for some time now and as soon as we started seeing pictures of his work, We immediately knew we had to offer them for the world to see. Jesse sure is a master at his craft. These puukko's are traditional, great users, and absolutely beautiful.

We were so happy to get yet another batch of his work in to offer to everyone! They seem to sell out almost immediately after we get a batch of his beautiful work

This knife started as a Lauri Carving 80mm High Carbon Steel blade made in Finland. The handle from simple materials but just finished to perfection as all of his work is. Made of Leather Spacers and Zebra Bone spacers in the front and rear, with C360 Brass Fittings. Again, the smooth transitions between many layers are pretty amazing. 

The bolster and pommel are C360 brass and the tang is properly and very cleanly peened at the pommel.

The Sheath is Brown veg-tanned leather, hand sewn, hand stitched, with a brass D-ring holding on a nice dangler. The Puukko fits about perfectly into the sheath to be sure it will not come out by accident.

Quite the piece of art that is made to be used and admired.
