Kennebec Knives Custom #1

Kennebec Knives are named after the Kennebec river and region in the Northeast.  They are are made by Aaron Smart. Aaron has been sending in pictures of his work for quite some time now and we have been sharing them for the world to see on our social media. We finally got together and are starting to offer some of his work for you.

This one started with the Lauri 84mm Stainless blade made in Finland. Quite the traditional and simple puukko. Using the Helle End Nut, he peened the tang of the blade at the pommel to be sure it is secure. The Brass bolster and pommel create a great contrast from the antler spacer. Very comfortable handle with a belly towards the pommel.

He used the Ragweed Forge #6 sheath and wet-formed it to fit this knife perfectly.
