Kola Woodcraft Knives - The Beaver - Helle Polar / Stabilized Birch Burl / Bog Oak / Stacked Birch Bark #28

Walter Reber has been making knives for over 10 years. He has forged many of his own blades but these offerings are all out of our blades. It was just a hobby for the most part until we saw some of his work. We can now offer some of his extremely well-built knives and ferro rods.

This knife started out with a Helle Polar Stainless Steel Blade with Ricasso. He used a stunning combination of Stabilized Birch Burl, Bog Oak and Stacked Birch Bark. It sports a nickel silver bolster and a brass pommel nut. The exposed peened tang adds to the rustic, sturdy appearance.

Overall length 6 1/2"

The Leather is Veg tanned and stamped with the image of a beaver.

Includes a ferro rod with custom handle. The handle is made from stabilized birch burl, bog oak and stacked birch bark to match the knife.

This Knife and sheath combo really shows off some beautiful work with clean crisp lines and unnoticeable seams. Another awesome piece from Walter. I have really enjoyed every knife he has sent us!
