Kola Woodcraft Knives - The Elk - #7

Walter Reber has been making knives for over 10 years. He has forged many of his own blades but these offerings are all out of our blades. It was just a hobby for the most part until we saw some of his work. We can now offer some of his extremely well-built knives and ferro rods.

This knife started out with the well known Laurin Metalli 95mm Blade with Hammered finish. This is made out of 80CrV2 High carbon Steel. He used some beautiful Stabilized Blue Maple Burl, Yellow Cedar Burl, Black Walnut Burl, Micarta Spacers and and awesome Elk mosaic Pin.  

Overall length 8 1/8"

He used a Nickel Silver Bolster that fit this blade perfectly and a Nickel Silver End Cap. 

The Leather is Veg tanned with a Elk stamped into the sheath

This Knife and sheath combo really shows off some beautiful work with clean crisp lines and unnoticeable seams. Another awesome piece from Walter. I have really enjoyed every knife he has sent us!
