It's a nice blade, but I was very surprised none of the Lauri blades were scandi grinds. Came here specifically for scandi grind carvers... So I'm somewhat disappointed, if maybe unfairly... So 3 stars

Thank you for your review. Lauri Blades have always had a slight secondary bevel for strength. We have certainly put a few on the diamond plate to get them to a true 0 degree scandi for wood carving with little effort. I hope it serves you well!
These heavy duty rhombic ground blades are fantastic! Add in the low price that Ragweed forge has managed to offer these at and it's really hard to find a better deal!
I am a big fan of Lauri blades in general, and the 95 is a go-to size for carving and general edc knife. The rhombic grind is unique and high-quality—I am really glad that RF designed these and is keeping them in stock. The rhombic blade has a more svelte profile and is ideal for detail carving projects. I made three knives as Christmas presents this year and used this blade on all three. Note that you may want to take a little extra time when filing the bolster for a cleaner fit. Top notch product at a fair price, as usual from RF!
