For years I have bought the annual commemorative 511/546 combo. I typically give the 511 away and keep the 546. The other day the lucky recipient of the blue/Dala Red 511 was explaining to me how carbon steel is easier to sharpen and will hold an edge longer than stainless. I just smiled, as he clearly has never owned a Mora stainless! This blue and red knife was perfect for him, in part because his nickname is Red! LOL Yet he is also a retired vehicle mechanic, and has many, many tools, and had never heard of Mora knives until I introduced him to them. He marveled at the quality, the functionality, and the price. He also appreciated the high visibility of the color. When I shared the high quality customer service from Ragweed Forge, he basically said, "doesn't get any better than high quality and excellent customer service!" I readily agreed. Well built and very nice looking knife

Excellent knife at any price

I use these knives as a general belt knife while doing anything outdoors. They are actually my preferred skinning and deboning knife and everyone in my family uses them the same way. I have had many more expensive knives but I’ve not had many better knives! These knives represent the best valve you can hang on your belt, in my opinion!

Lauri Fillet

When my lauri 220 fillet knife arrived, I was intimidated by the size. It is an 8-3/4” blade with a 5”+ tang. The blade is razor sharp and flexes nicely. The handle is made of Sapele and coated with epoxy. I paired the knife with an epoxy sheath, which I figure will withstand the salt water better than leather. The end result is a very useful knife, with some character. Just need to catch a fish and put it to the test. Thanks Ragweed.

Two new knives!

Great selection and clear pictures make this site a great place to get an affordable utilitarian or heirloom quality hunting knife.
I purchased both. Packaging was excellent: items came packaged from the factory with documentation.
