New Mountain Knives LLC is a newly formed business by Chris Nyberg who has been making knives for over twenty years. The blades are all Scandinavian made and sourced from Ragweed Forge. The handle materials almost always include both antler and wood while using variety of spacer materials. The wood and most antler is all harvested or sourced by the maker locally in central NY.
This knife started with a Roselli Hunter R100LCB high carbon blade (4in) made in Finland! This one has a stabilized Black walnut handle with Reindeer antler Bolster, birch bark spacers and copper/antler pin.
A very comfortable knife in a great matching sheath set!
The Sheath a perfect match to the handle with a stabilized piece of walnut and oil tanned Cowhide.
The knife fits quite nicely into this sheath and you can be sure it would not fall out on accident. The Dangler surely helps make this a great EDC.

All knives are finished with Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil gunstock finish which is a linseed oil based finish that looks great and is easy to refinish if necessary. All knives come with sheaths inspired by Scandinavian design made by New Mountain Knives. Leather sheaths all have a wood liner but some knives are lucky and come with matching antler or wood sheaths. New Mountain Knives is open to custom orders using antler, wood, or a blade that has some special meaning to you.
