Pecks Woods Leather - Knife, Ferro Rod, and Leather sheath #72

Dan from Pecks woods has been doing some wonderful leather work for years. He is now making some rustic custom knives! All of his handle material is found and collected in upstate New York!

Now this is quite the sheath and clean leatherwork!

This knife is started with the well know and great steel from a Lauri Carving 95mm High Carbon blade (3 3/4"). The Handle is made from a couple odd pieces of antler and some leather spacers but somehow it all comes together quite nicely and is actually comfortable. Brass Bolster.

This one also comes with an swedish ferro rod  mounted into another piece of white tail antler.

This beautiful and well decorated Brown Leather sheath fits this knife quite well, hand dyed, hand tooled and hand stitched. The sheath will accommodate a belt up to 1 3/4in.

Quite a rustic and traditional looking piece besides the elastic strap that secures ferro rod to sheath.
