Peltonen M07 Ranger Puukko Uncoated N690 Stainless Composite Sheath FJP257

I have several Peltonen knives; while they are simple in design, they are excellent in function. Quality control is the best; I've never received a knife that didn't have a perfectly ground edge, even on both sides all the way to the tip. They come razor sharp, & I really like the high scandi grind, which only Finnish knives seem to use.

This knife has all of the delightful qualities of its 80CrV2 sibling, except for a tendency to rust and stain.

It has the same rock solid lockup in the sheath. The same comfy TPE handle. A crisp spine. An excellent sharp, even edge, with perfect plunge lines.

It costs only a bit more, but it may well be worth the peace of mind, particularly if you want to tuck it away as a backup in your pack or vehicle. It will wait patiently, rain or shine, just as sharp as the day it was made.

All of the Peltonen knives are similar in quality, and are an excellent value.
