R.Nurmi PUUKKO - #12 Birch Burl, Spalted Birch, Birch Bark Spacers

Rick has been a wood worker and knife builder for many years. I was quite surprised with the creativity when the first batch of knives was sent. Every one of his knives we have seen have exceptional craftsmanship and  are beyond creative.

This knife was started with a Lauri 95mm Stainless Blade. The handle is made out of Birch Burl, Birch Bark, and Spalted Birch Spacers. The handle is absolutely beautiful as it reflects in the light

The sheath is an absolute work of art. Made out of birch bark and laced with rawhide, it really stands out. Inside of the Birch bark is traditional leather to be sure the knife is secure. The knife fits quite snug into the sheath as it is supposed to.
