Great take on the puukko!

Striking gray full grip handle with a beautiful spacer accent and a truly gorgeous brass finger guard. Nicely balanced and with a comfortable and secure grip. Looking at it, you'd expect it to be a bit heavy, but it isn't at all. Sharp as can be on arrival. Edge holding, I'm not sure yet. Haven't had to sharpen it. Very unique looking. Beautiful secure sheath.

Ron Skala has been making these custom knives for years! Using mostly bone/antler handles, he sure has it figured out.

This knife is started with a Laurin Metalli 95mm Stainless blade (3 3/4in) made in Finland. Ron has got out of his comfort zone again here as I believe this is the first knife we have ever seen from him with a Acrylic Handle. He really did it right. Gray acrylic with a bronze acrylic spacer and Brass finger guard. Really a nice touch.

Very Comfortable handle in Right or left hand.

The well pronounced finger guard and is hand made out of brass that he was able to salvage.. This comes with a very decorated hand stitched Black sheath. The knife fits into it perfectly and securely. You can be sure this one will not come out on accident. Quite an awesome piece for the price.

Lauri Fillet

When my lauri 220 fillet knife arrived, I was intimidated by the size. It is an 8-3/4” blade with a 5”+ tang. The blade is razor sharp and flexes nicely. The handle is made of Sapele and coated with epoxy. I paired the knife with an epoxy sheath, which I figure will withstand the salt water better than leather. The end result is a very useful knife, with some character. Just need to catch a fish and put it to the test. Thanks Ragweed.

Two new knives!

Great selection and clear pictures make this site a great place to get an affordable utilitarian or heirloom quality hunting knife.
I purchased both. Packaging was excellent: items came packaged from the factory with documentation.
I will definitely do business with Ragweed Forge again.
