Warren Thacker has been a customer and knife maker as long as I can remember. This past spring, we finally met at the Blade Show in Atlanta. I saw some of his work and knew you all would love to see it as well. We are now offering some of his pieces.
Traditional Damascus Puukko
The Thacker Knives version of a traditional Puukko. Hand-forged Damascus steel blade (1084/15N20) complete with a through-tang peened into the stainless steel pommel. The handle is composed of toasted curly maple and curly birch (both stabilized) with leather spacers and black G10 spacers at the bolster and pommel. This piece includes a custom, handmade sheath with a wooden insert for the blade. This is a one of a kind piece.
