I bought this knife several years ago, and despite owning lots of knives, many of them much more expensive, this is the blade I carry most. Compact, capable, versatile, strong, and dependable, I have used this knife for everything from batoning kindling, carving feathersticks and spoons, breaking down deer, slicing onions, and darn near anything you might need a knife to do. Easy to carry (I prefer neck carry), light, yet ready for hard use, and easy to sharpen. I've carried it backpacking, back country hunting, hiking and camping, and if I were doing a long distance backpacking trip, or backcountry hunt, this would be the foundation of my primary cutting tools. You can't go wrong with spending 40$ on this blade. Useful, and beautiful, with excellent craftsmanship. You'll need to sharpen most of these Laurin blades for a few minutes to get them up to snuff, and put a 90° spine on it, but that small investment in time is worth the capability of such a wonderful blade which will become a life-long companion.

This knife is simplicity at its best.

No jimping. No finger choil. Just a basic knife made with the same materials humanity has been using for a thousand years.

I find it is very comfortable in the hand, and it has the same fine carbon steel many other Finnish knives have.

With proper care, it will last a lifetime.

I Have Been Collecting Puukkos For Years , These Are Nice For The Price .

An extremely well crafted Bushcraft knife with a perfect scandi grind, I've never been a fan of this type of sheath, so I purchased an unfinished sheath would fit it and an insert for that sheath, this particular she's is extremely well made and handmade better than any Chief I've bought in the last 30 years I bought the unfinished sheep because I want to dye it and finish it myself just to personalize it

I haven't used it yet but it seems to be a decent knife for its price range I will at some point by another sheath for it because I I like it to stay in tight and a little higher but for right now this is fine
