JL Knives Custom Puukko #19

Jesse Lerman has been buying our blades for some time now and as soon as we started seeing pictures of his work, We immediately knew we had to offer them for the world to see. Jesse sure is a master at his craft. These puukko's are traditional, great users, and absolutely beautiful.

We were so happy to get a third batch of his work in to offer to everyone! The Last batch sold out quite quickly.

This knife started as a Morakniv #1 Stainless Steel blade 3 7/8in long made in Sweden. Another new style from Jesse that we have not seen before. The handle is really neat and would have been a tough build. Made of Stabilized Karelian Birch and Stabilized Spalted Maple. Clean work. There is no bolster on this blade which makes the carving work quite intricate to get a smooth fit to the blade.

Total length of knife: 7 3/4in

The Sheath is brown veg-tanned leather, hand sewn, hand stitched, with a brass D-ring holding on a nice dangler. The Puukko fits about perfectly into the sheath to be sure it will not come out by accident.

Quite the piece of art that is made to be used and admired.
