This knife started as a Lauri Carving 80mm High Carbon Steel blade made in Finland. The handle is absolutely beautiful and elegant as all of his work is. Made of Stabilized Buckeye Burl, Leather Spacers with C360 Brass Fittings. The Buckeye Burl sure has some Character to it. The smooth transitions between many layers are pretty amazing.
The bolster and pommel are C360 brass and the tang is properly and very cleanly peened at the pommel.

The Sheath is Black veg-tanned leather, hand sewn, hand stitched, with a brass D-ring holding on a nice dangler. The Puukko fits about perfectly into the sheath to be sure it will not come out by accident.
Quite the piece of art that is made to be used and admired.
