Jesse Lerman has been buying our blades for some time now and as soon as we started seeing pictures of his work, We immediately knew we had to offer them for the world to see. Jesse sure is a master at his craft. These puukko's are traditional, great users, and absolutely beautiful.
We were so happy to get another batch of his work in to offer to everyone! The Last batch sold out quite quickly as usual
This one is larger than his normal knives we are used to seeing and he nailed it!
This knife started as a 5 7/8in Hunter style blade with a high grind made from 80CrV2 High Carbon Steel made in Poland. The handle is similar to his normal puukko handles and looks like a piece of art! Made of Stabilized Spalted Beech, Zebra Bone, Leather Spacers, with C360 Brass Bolster and Pommel. The smooth transitions between many layers are pretty amazing. I enjoy the shape of this handle. Simple yet elegant design.
Blade Length: 5 7/8
Total length of knife: 10 1/8in
The Sheath is black veg-tanned leather, hand sewn, hand stitched, with a brass D-ring holding on a nice dangler. The Puukko fits about perfectly into the sheath to be sure it will not come out by accident.
Quite the piece of art that is made to be used and admired.
