John Lisack Custom #5 Puukko

John Lisack has been a customer for quite some time now. He started sharing pictures of his work and here we are! These are simple knives but he really takes the time to match the blade to the handle for a comfortable fit!

This one started with the well-known triple laminated Helle Harding Blade #99.  The handle is made out of Axis deer antler with pieces of Maple wood and leather spacers. John finished this handle by hand with 9 coats of finishing oil. It feels quite protected but also will not be slippery when wet.  This gives the beautiful wood and antler some depth and really adds a nice touch. Quite comfortable in either left or right hand,

The Brown leather sheath is quite soft and takes over 3/4 of the entire knife for a sure fit.
