Let's be honest: Morakniven are excellent & affordable Swedish stainless steel cutters, but most come w/ chintzy molded-plastic, shocking-color sheaths--main reason I rarely carry them outside home. This sturdy, nicely-tanned medium-brown side-seam leather sheath by Ragweed Forge solves that issue for only $18.00. Subtract Redbeard's 20% promotional discount, add $6 shipping, & you have a $20.40 bargain I could not refuse. Fits my cork-handled Floater perfectly & needs no internal lasta because tightness at top keeps tip at bottom centered, posing little cut-thru threat. Hard leather strip inserted between seam sides prevents blade from slicing nylon stitching, too. Belt loop folded back & attached w/ rivet accomodates up to 2.5-in-width waist belt. This style rides too high for me, so clipped on Helle dangler that just barely fits. Just discovered same sheath fits my slightly longer-bladed Morakniv Spark, though not as tight yet seats deeper, as its guard is smaller. Wish RB would offer similar leather sheath fitting my 3rd Morakniv, the 6-in flexible-blade fish/filet knife that comes in a cheapo black plastic skeletonized sheath.

I ordered this thinking a tee shirt is a tee shirt. Got it for the logo. But I was pleasantly surprised at how soft and comfortable the shirt is.

I'm in the process of putting a handle on to try to carve spoons. Seems to be well made and comes sharp. If it works then i might consider the short blade also for my kit.

That stands for Fully Functional Work Of Art. This my 2nd Pete's is even better due to several things:
Even its lanyard tube is nickel-silver lined for ease of threading a cord thru & features interesting intricate mosaic surrounds on both sides. This nearly hidden NiAg matches that in thick 3-mm guard & thin double spacers flanking trustone jasper near handle top. It's lava-look swirling yellow-orange contrasts dramatically w/ shiney black buffalo horn bolster above while echoing color in mosaic below & sheath stitching. Most of slightly curved 4 7/8-in ergonomic handle is beautiful black/brown cocobolo wood, best viewed in direct sunlight to appreciate its striated grain. Lauri high carbon blade is polished to a nice satin finish at 1st glance you'd guess was SS. At a near-perfect 105 mm length including 4.5-mm ricasso, it's 20 mm shorter than my bit-too-long #2, making a more versatile tool. 3 mm-thick of traditional Scandi grind forming rhomboid tip, the final bevel is super-sharp & easily slices thru meat, small bones, fruits, veges, rope, cardboard boxes, green branches, even hard rubber. 3-mm-thick side-seam Italian leather sheath is an improvement over #2, also, this 1 w/ loop stitched on back for those who like to carry high/stable on belt, to which is attached w/ readily removable carabiner-ring another leather loop for those like I who prefer a dangler. 2 smoked-metal Chicago screws reinforce it at stress points & quietly quash the quality-quirky who know they trump rivets. It is great to have a finishing stone on a cord around my neck. I maybe losing extra steel, but my knife is never found dull.
