JRE Sheath Bushcraft Model K

JRE makes great affordable sheaths. I wanted a better sheath for my Mora Kansbol, but I’m not tryin to spend $100+ on a sheath for a $35 knife with a plastic handle, so this Model K is the perfect upgrade. It arrived stiff as a board, but I wet formed it and put on some leather conditioner, now it looks I really did spend 100+ bucks on it. Knife and firesteel fit perfectly. Excellent quality. Redbeard was super helpful throughout the process, and I love that Ragweed Forge is here in my home state of NY. May have to visit there someday, it looks beautiful.

I’d just completed a build on a Helle Utvaer blank that I purchased from the forge and needed a sheath. I reached out to redbeard and he was very helpful as he suggested this sheath along with several others which were suitable for the new blade. My utvaer build had slightly largest scales than the Helle completed one, so this suggestion and advice from redbeard was super helpful.

Good solid leather. Should be very durable too.
