North Wolf Large Lapp Inspired Puukko #17
John Myshkoff has a passion for not just making usable puukko's but they must be as attractive as they are ready for work.
This knife was started with a High Carbon Lauri 150 Rhombic Blade. The whole blade was hand polished to 800x and then a scotch-brite gray satin. It is just awesome.
The Handle is made out of a beautiful piece of Curly Birch with Ironwood Spacers. Quite a nice dense Deer antler Bolster finished off so nicely and a perfectly shaped Caribou Antler Endcap.
The Sheath is made from Brown Buffalo Back sewn with a hand carved wooden insert, dangler secured with Brass ring and Chicago screw post.
This piece is absolutely amazing in my opinion and a beautiful piece to show off for anyone. Not just that, perfectly balanced for use as well.
