Pecks Woods Leather - Traditional layered Birch Bark handle #119

Dan from Pecks woods has been doing some wonderful leather work for years. He is now making some rustic custom knives! All of his handle material is found and collected in upstate New York!

This knife is started with the well know and great steel from a Lauri Carving 80mm High Carbon blade (3 1/8"). The Handle is quite traditional, made out of stacked  Birch Bark spacers with a bolster and end cap. I am really happy that Dan has started making these at such a reasonable price. This is the first of the kind that we have seen from Dan and it seems they will keep on coming as long as he has the Birch Bark available.

This beautiful yet simple Leather sheath is hand dyed brownish/red, hand tooled and hand stitched. The sheath will accommodate a belt up to  2 1/4in.

This Sheath has a removable dangler if you prefer that option as well!

Overall Length: 7 1/4in

Quite a rustic and traditional looking piece.
