The craftsmanship on this knife is incredible, it just feels right in your hand. Redbeard was great in instructing me on how to sharpen this grind and what tools I would need, he even gifted me an Arkansas stone. I was so pleased with this knife and the customer service, I ordered another Roselli from Ragweed Forge.

Extra nice general use knife

I bought this over a year ago and have just recently been able to appreciate and use it. It is an incredible knife. The sheath is very useful, I wound some leather cordage through the slits in the sheath and it holds it securely as a neck knife. After spending some time refining the edge on my stones, it is scary sharp and has kept an edge. It bites into wood with confidence and is fine for other hiking and camping food prep tasks. Quickly becoming my favorite for backpacking as it is very light and non-threatening. Superior service from Ragweed Forge, cannot be happier with my purchase. The only downside: I am now interested in Roselli knives and I'm tempted to purchase more.

I have carried worn and used the Roselli Carpenter for more than 30 years now. Being a small scale farmer/orchard operator it is a frequently used tool. I recently ordered two more as gifts for others. Redbeard did me the favor of selecting some very attractive curley birch handles which will be appreciated by others since my original purchase still serves me well even if it is a little less select. Roselli knives sharpen easily, hold an edge well and are far lighter than most of their competitors. The sheath is a masterpiece of practical simplicity and the grip is suitable for continuous use without hand irritation. Yes it costs more than a Mora, but for me it is the far better tool.

Description

The Roselli R110 The Carpenters Knife is a classic puukko style knife with a narrow blade that is shaped for fine work. This one feels really good to me, and is the one I bought for myself before I became a dealer in Roselli knives. The handle is a bit smaller in diameter than the others, and this allows for more finesse in use. It feels very good in my small to average sized hand.

This Finnish handmade knife is Roselli's version of the ultimate outdoor knife. The design is inspired from traditional carving knives and due to its handy size, you can fit it everywhere. The knife also works well as a hunting knife and the size of the blade makes it suitable for hunters who prefers hunting for smaller game.

The blade is made from forged carbon steel and the handle is curly birch, coated with linseed oil - which ensure a firm grip, even when wet. Comes with a handcrafted sheath of light vegetable tanned Finnish leather.
