This Double sided stick is a great add on to anyone who likes to spend their free time fishing on the water. The One side has groves to slide your hook down to sharpen the edge, The other side is flat to for any other hook or knife needs.  The stick is only 5" when packed away and with a quarter turn, you can pull the diamond stick out and attach again with a quarter turn. The stick will then be just over 9in. Quite a comfortable length to carry and work with. This will be quite a nice add on to any pack, or tackle box for those who like to spend their time near water.

Great design and execution

Always wanted one of these, just hadn't pulled the plug until now. The surface is similar to other diamond sharpeners I have, but the grip for this seems nice. Grooves seem perfect for bigger hooks on flies and lures, also.

Sharpener Stick

I recently purchased this portable knife & fishing hook sharpener. I am very impressed at the innovative design. The protective case has a cap that doubles as a handle. It protects the sharpening surfaces very well, and can stand up to being carried, or inside a tackle box. Good for touching up blades, and hooks on the go.
