I just received the orange, yet have owned the traditional colored HD for over 10 years. I have batoned a truck load of kindling with it, and it is like a Timex, takes a licking and keeps on ticking! The old sheath has a button on the outside, and I clipped a Mora Precision on it, and lashed the sheaths together with some Paracord. It makes a great bush craft combo, HD for chomping, Precision for nibbling. I have always loved the ergonomics of the Companion HD, being just a tad larger overall than the companion, and of course the 1/8" Mora steel blade is a significant tool, functional, resilient sharpness, and easy to maintain. The Christmas season had me seeking a new Mora and the orange caught my eye. Beware, that fluorescent orange pigment is much brighter than cameras capture it. As it says in the description, it won't get lost in the leaves!
