I have been collecting and using knives for nearly 60 years, but just recently purchased my first Mora, one for me, one for my wife. The 511 is definitely basic, but it is all the knife a normal person needs. It came sharp and fits snugly in the black sheath. As always, I touched up the blades and they reached extreme sharp. The steel felt and acted very well treated and I have no doubt it will hold an edge very well. The handle is comfortable for both of us. Considering the price, we will not hold back on using these knives for all our needs. To date we have used them in the kitchen and in processing freshly harvested fatwood. They perform flawlessly. We reworked the spine to improve the scraping ability for wood fluff and fire steel, though we have never used a knife spine for those purposes. The knives appear indestructible, though I have no intention of testing that. Excellent knives, excellent price, excellent seller.
