#5114; The Valknut was common from the earliest Viking period. It is said to represent the three realms of existence, and the ability to travel among them. It is closely associated with Odin.

Carvings of the valknut are found form the 7th Century CE on picture stones in Gotland, Sweden and carved the 9th Century CE Oseberg Ship. In modern times, associated with the worship of Odin and Norse beliefs in general, this valknut is a Viking symbol of three interconnected triangles. Its ancient meaning is not known but might designate the nine worlds, which are united by the Yggdrasil tree. 21mm W x 25mm H
