Excellent Traditional Knife

This is a really nice knife. both knife and sheath are well crafted traditional Scandi heritage. The blade is very impressive - polished Damasteel and is quite sharp. the handle has beautiful wood grain and feels well in my hand, and the sheath is impressive wood and leather with carvings. A superbly crafted knife!

The Karesuando Järven (Wolverine) is of the more traditional Sammi style knives. It has the typical pronounced flair to the wide, flat pommel. The handle is an assembly of reindeer horn and curly birch. The sheath has a leather top section with a curly birch base. There is an insert of reindeer horn down the front of the sheath which is engraved with an attractive design. The engravings are done by hand and will vary somewhat.

Lauri Fillet

When my lauri 220 fillet knife arrived, I was intimidated by the size. It is an 8-3/4” blade with a 5”+ tang. The blade is razor sharp and flexes nicely. The handle is made of Sapele and coated with epoxy. I paired the knife with an epoxy sheath, which I figure will withstand the salt water better than leather. The end result is a very useful knife, with some character. Just need to catch a fish and put it to the test. Thanks Ragweed.

Two new knives!

Great selection and clear pictures make this site a great place to get an affordable utilitarian or heirloom quality hunting knife.
I purchased both. Packaging was excellent: items came packaged from the factory with documentation.
