I was pleased with this knife blank. The length, thickness and grind of the blade will provide all the knife you need for carving and fire starting. The handle is generous. I look forward to crafting a handle and sheath for it.

This knife is as close to perfection in a knife as one can get. The leather spacer handle is awesome, the best I have seen. The workmanship and attention to detail are fantastic. This is one beautiful knife.

Bought another Mora Basic for my wife, had to get one for myself. These are great for all the time carry when working around the place, which is endless and involves lots of cutting. I would definitely recommend these for a hard use knife, and Ragweed as a knife supplier.

Got our first Moras from Ragweed earlier this year. I am accustomed to excellent knives, and these Mora Basic carbon steel knives have been a very pleasant surprise in both quality and performance. My wife and I actually use these knives for many things and are very happy with the edge holding and strength. We were content with our original maroon Basics, but my wife's dream car was black with tan interior, so when I saw the new Mora Basic color it was a no brainer.

This budget priced blade arrived razor sharp. With a little polishing it cleans up bright and shiny. I used a piece of southern pine from a 220 year old South Carolina plantation house. Not my usual choice but historic.

Was excited to see this color option! I'm a big fan of 14c28n, so along with the color, and the price, this was a must. The plastic sheath is sturdy and functional, holds the knife securely and is ambidextrous, a plus for me as a left hander. The knife came very sharp, as all my Mora's are from the factory. Great service too from Ragnar, knife ordered on Monday, arrived in AZ on Wednesday, thank you!!!
