The Santoku knife has a thin blade that allows for extremely precise cutting and chopping with a wide variety of ingredients. It is a slightly smaller alternative to our Gyuto chef's knife and a slightly larger alternative to our utility knife. Its exceptional cutting properties make it perfect for cutting paper-thin slices. However, please note that the hard blade is not suitable for cutting hard materials such as bones and tendons.
The knife's blade is made of ultra-high carbon steel (UHC), which ensures excellent sharpness and long-lasting cutting ability. The handle is made of stained curly birch, treated with linseed oil, providing a comfortable and secure grip even in wet conditions.
The Santoku knife comes with a uniquely designed blade guard made of Finnish vegetable-tanned leather. This carefully crafted blade guard combines practicality and aesthetics, protecting your knife between cooking sessions, while traveling, or when you send it to Roselli for a free sharpening service.
