Description
This Kauhavan Puukkopaja Decoration Knife is wonderfully suitable as a woodcarving knife and would also make a beautiful gift knife. The handle is made out of stained curly birch with a German silver bolster, plates and butt end. The fiber spacers in between really add a nice touch. The brown leather sheath comes with a dangler style belt loop that would fit up to a 2" belt.
Note from the maker: Beautiful decorative touches on the knives are done by hand. The handle is formed freehand from curly birch. Brass or albata plates and/or fiber board are used as decoration. Two-part epoxy adhesive is put between each part. The blade’s tang goes through the handle to which it is riveted. The straight shaped handle is also great as it fits in big hands, and the handle’s shape makes the knife easy to use.
