So I bought this on a whim really and I’m glad I did ! Great quality and it works for me .

I e mailed about this sheath fitting a ColdSteel Finnhawk . The plastic sheath that comes with it is a bit too good as it’s tuff to get the knife out of the sheath . I received a prompt e mail back that the sheath should fit . I ordered the sheath , a ferro rod and a dangler for my Companion. The order came quick ! My Finn hawk fit the new sheath near perfect . I’m totally happy with it !!

This blade is a bit wider than other Lauri blades in that size category. Makes a perfect hunter or just an all-around knife. Also super sharp.

This is a perfect cover for the bat strop. It fits well and provides protection. A must have.

JL (Jesse) makes great knives. This knife is of a different style than his exceptional custom Puukko knives, but it shows his skill as a knifemaker. Mora steel and karelian birch/spalted maple handle make this a one of a kind.

I use knives with inward-curved sharp side variously called shroomers, openers, & faragers mainly to peel fruits & veges, though some find them handy for castration. This Boreal #9 is among the best of the genre. 1st, it has 3" of razor-sharp Nordic Edge 440B stainless steel blade. Dem Swedes do metal right. Plus, the smooth pale spruce burl that is most of the handle is even more beautiful accentuated by the darker sapele wood pommel below (from which the 3 rust-colored tufts of bristles emerge) & the mottled birch bark that serves as a spacer for moose antler "guard" above. The medium-brown hand-stitched side-seam wet-molded leather sheath is pure quality, though I'll use the adjustable red paracord to wrap around belt as a dangler instead of from neck, where it's just too easy to strangle this loquacious SOB. All for a quite reasonable $199.99! Thank you John Jacobson.

Great product!! Better service! My agent alerted me that the finger guards that I’d ordered didn’t fit my ordered blades. He substituted the correct size with no delay. Now that is what I call service!

This is a terrific medium sized blade. Makes a great useful and good looking knife. See pics.

The knife blank is very nice. It’s razor sharp and the handle is hard, so get the correct pins or plan on ruining some bits! The knife came quick too.
