John Drewes has been a long time customer. Sending us photos of his custom knives every now and then, we have started to urge him to let us sell some. We often display his work on our Social Media Pages. After asking a number of time, he is ready to sell some of these beautiful pieces. Quite the creative craftsman with just beautiful hand finished work.
The blade is made by KJ Groven of Rapid City. Triple laminate (Norwegian style) 1018 outer layers and 15N20 cutting edge, as are all of his.
Handle Thuya burl and acrylic accents. Bolster is copper and nickel silver mokume.
Blade 4 1/8 in. Long.
An oversized Scandinavian hunter, in my view. Sheath is half tanned steer hide. Tooled and dyed . Knife "pops" into sheath nicely when inserted.
Just a beautiful hand crafted piece, We truly love his work.
