Mad Toad Leathercraft & Knives #3
John Drewes has been a long time customer. Sending us photos of his custom knives every now and then, we have started to urge him to let us sell some. We often display his work on our Social Media Pages. After asking a number of time, he is ready to sell some of these beautiful pieces. Quite the creative craftsman with just beautiful hand finished work.
This one is a "fraternal twin" of number 1. Same blade, same handle shape, and similar sheath as number 1.
The handle is different material .
It is acrylic by Raffir- called Noble bronze. A very fine bronze mesh crumpled and imbedded gives this unusual appearance. The white accent is acrylic "mastodon ivory."
This handle has some absolutely beautiful depth to it.
Then a black piece of micarta just behind the copper and nickel silver mokume bolster.
4 1/8" KJ Groven blade
Just a beautiful hand crafted piece, We truly love his work
