Pecks Woods Leather - Antler and Leather spacer Neck Knife #29
Dan from Pecks woods has been doing some wonderful leather work for years. He is now making some rustic custom knives! All of his handle material is found and collected in upstate New York!
This is the Fourth neck knife we have seen from Dan and I like his idea. The first two sold so quickly he made more. The flat sheath lets it lay comfortably on your chest. The neck band comes extra long so you can easily adjust it to your length and cut off remainder leather.
This knife is started with the well know and great steel from a Lauri Carving 62mm (2 3/8") High Carbon blade. The Handle is made from 2 antler pieces with stacked leather in the middle and a Brass bolster. Slim piece for discrete carrying.
This neat well decorated Leather sheath is hand dyed, hand tooled and hand stitched. The sheath is pouch style and could also fit a similar sized knife although this knife fits quite well and would not fall out.
Overall Length: 7 in
Quite a rustic and traditional looking piece
